Feed by breed group
Large breeds such as form, poultry-type and pouter pigeons also consume larger grains like maize and peas. For them, mixes for all breeds such as Eurital Pigeon Feed for All Breeds (5 kg and 10 kg) or Versele-Laga Show Standard All-Round are suitable.
Medium-sized breeds such as colour, trumpeter and pattern pigeons as well as many tumblers do well with mixes without maize, for example FooFine Fancy Pigeons Vital without Maize, Paloma Fancy Pigeons without Maize or Versele-Laga Show Plus I.C. without Maize. For Uzbeks there is FooFine Uzbek Vital.
Short-beaked breeds such as owl pigeons and short-beaked tumblers need small grains. For this, Eurital Short-beaked Pigeon Feed without Maize (10 kg) is blended.
