Why is drinking water hygiene so important for humans and animals (homing pigeons)?
The digestive tract is by far the largest entry point for all types of germs. Clean and uncontaminated drinking water for humans and animals is the basic prerequisite for health and well-being. Life-threatening problems due to contaminated drinking water, such as during natural disasters, occur repeatedly. Deadly diseases, such as E-coli, cholera, and other infections, are often the result of contaminated drinking water in these situations. Everyone is actually aware of how important hygienically perfect drinking water is. In homing pigeon racing, more attention should be paid to drinking water.
What is Tollisan Dosto RopAdeno ®?
RopAdeno® is water treated by a new electrolysis process with special properties. Through this special technology, where the water is subsequently treated with electric current, hypochlorous acid, one of the strongest and at the same time most compatible disinfectants for a living organism, is produced among other things. Only because of this excellent compatibility is it permitted to add RopAdeno® to drinking water.
However, RopAdeno® is many times more effective than just hypochlorous acid alone, and with its almost neutral pH value, it is also not corrosive. A part of the electrically added energy is retained in the molecules and substances, which want to discharge back into equilibrium in the normal environment. This high energy charge was successfully stored in a bottle for a longer period with the RopAdeno® product for the first time and is also measurably detectable as a redox potential. The process of water disinfection by electrolysis is not new. Up to now, however, the charge has simply neutralized again after a short time, sometimes after only a few hours, and thus there was no longer any effect against bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores. What is new is that with RopAdeno®, it has been possible for the first time to produce a stable and long-lasting effective product and thus offer the market a truly marketable product. This new process is based on several patents.
Why does Tollisan Dosto RopAdeno ® work?
When the positively charged RopAdeno®, as a cocktail of electrical charge and hypochlorous acid, comes into contact with microorganisms, it wants to use the negatively charged molecules in their cells to rebalance itself. In addition, it attacks components in the cell wall, which then becomes permeable. By attracting (magnetism) the negative cell contents through the attacked cell wall, it is destroyed, and the bacteria are virtually mechanically killed "in a flash." The formation of resistances is thus made impossible.
RopAdeno® works within a very short time against all bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores.
Furthermore, RopAdeno® dissolves the biofilm in the water troughs, where pathogens can also settle. If you have ever had a pathogen in the water pipes, even clean drinking water can be immediately re-contaminated by the pathogens residing in the biofilm of a water pipe. This problem, that pathogens have settled in the water pipes, can incidentally occur everywhere. This should also be a major problem with homing pigeon transport vehicles.
The legislator permits a 3% addition (30 ml/1 liter) of RopAdeno® to drinking water and classifies it as absolutely harmless for humans and animals. This dosage provides reliable protection against the transmission of diseases through drinking water. The intestinal flora is maintained, and the animals are bursting with health because they are protected from unwanted germs and freed from them.
A higher dosage would also be possible in the short term in the acute course of young bird disease. In practice, however, it has been shown that with a daily dosage of only 10 - 15 ml per 1 liter of drinking water, there has been no outbreak for the first time among breeders who were affected by young bird disease every year. Many of these breeders were even able to do without antibiotics entirely for the first time. In recent years, RopAdeno® has been used for the first time by many internationally renowned breeders with overwhelming success.
So why use RopAdeno® in water troughs or homing pigeon transport vehicles?
All pigeons carry loft-specific pathogens in the form of germs, bacteria, or viruses. If many pigeons now come together, as with young pigeons, you will logically have many different pathogens directly in the drinking water after a short time, where the pathogens multiply merrily and are then directly absorbed by all other pigeons via the gastrointestinal tract. This problem has been known for a long time and is referred to as "crowding" in technical jargon.
RopAdeno® immediately kills ALL these pathogens and keeps your troughs clean, without being harmful to the pigeons. This means that the pathogens are no longer transmitted via the drinking water and cannot settle in the troughs.
