Complementary feed for racing pigeons
Poly-min contains minerals that pigeons need daily for their metabolism. Poly-min is particularly rich in finely ground fossil oyster shells. These are known to release calcium more slowly compared to ground limestone. This has the advantage that the pigeon receives a consistent supply of calcium. Tests have shown that fossil oyster shells, as a slow-release Ca source, have a positive influence on animal health, well-being, and performance.
Another valuable ingredient in Poly-min is algae lime. The trace elements it contains, which are rich and biologically highly available, are particularly noteworthy.
Poly-min also contains calcium gluconate, a high-quality calcium source.
A special feature of Poly-min is betaine. It is a natural product derived from sugar beet. Betaine is both a methyl group donor and an energy booster. Betaine exerts osmoregulatory effects in the gut and simultaneously stabilizes it. Furthermore, betaine is known to support coccidiosis prophylaxis.
Poly-min has proven effective in preventing rickets and eggshell abnormalities.

Application

Instructions for use: Sprinkle 100 mg (e.g. budgerigar) 500 mg (pigeon) per animal per day over the feed or offer in a treat dish. 1 level measuring spoon (= 5g Poly-min) for 10 pigeons per day.
Due to the higher levels of vitamin A, vitamin D3 and trace elements compared to complete feeds, this mineral feed may only be fed to racing pigeons up to 10% of the daily ration.
