Supplementary feed for racing pigeons

Poly-min contains minerals that pigeons need daily for their metabolism. Poly-min is particularly rich in finely ground fossilized oyster shells. These are known for their slow-release calcium release, unlike ground limestone. This ensures a consistent calcium supply for the pigeon. Tests have shown that fossilized oyster shells, as a slow-release calcium source, have a positive impact on animal health, well-being, and performance.

Another enrichment of Poly-min is the algal lime. The abundant and readily bioavailable trace elements it contains are particularly noteworthy.

Poly-min also contains calcium gluconate, a high-quality source of calcium.

Poly-min contains betaine, a natural product derived from sugar beets. Betaine is both a methyl group donor and an energy booster. It exerts osmoregulatory effects in the intestines, stabilizing them. Furthermore, betaine is known to support coccidiosis prevention.

Poly-min has proven effective in preventing rickets and eggshell deformities.

Instructions for use: Sprinkle 100 mg (e.g., budgie) or 500 mg (pigeon) per animal per day over the feed or offer in the treat dish. One level measuring spoon (= 5 g Poly-min) for 10 pigeons per day.

Due to its higher levels of vitamin A, vitamin D3 and trace elements compared to complete feeds, this mineral feed may only be fed to racing pigeons up to 10% of their daily ration.
