Backs Quartz Stomach Stones 7 kg
Single feed for pigeons and ornamental poultry
They are fire-dried and bacteria-free.
They serve the animals in the gizzard as a substitute for teeth, i.e. as an aid to grind down food. Without stomach stones, the food is digested much worse by the animals. The stomach stones are not dissolved by stomach acid and therefore last longer than calcium grit.

Application

Feeding recommendation: The stomach grit should be made available to the animals in a separate bowl. In areas with limited free-range space or aviary housing, the grit can also be scattered in the free-range area to encourage natural scratching and searching for minerals.

Single feedstuff for pigeons and ornamental poultry

They are fire-dried and bacteria-free.

They serve as a substitute for teeth in the animals' gizzard, aiding in the grinding of food. Without gizzard stones, the animals digest their food much less efficiently. These stones are not dissolved by stomach acid and therefore last longer than grit.

Feeding recommendation: The grit should be provided to the animals in a separate dish for free access. If outdoor space is limited or the animals are kept in an aviary, the grit can also be scattered in the open area to encourage their natural scratching and searching for minerals.
