Natural flooring granules are a natural product derived from underground lava rock. They guarantee improved hygiene and dryness in the dovecote and are completely harmless to the pigeons.

Through the treatment and transformation of this highly porous material into granules, Natural Flooring Granules possess an exceptionally high moisture absorption capacity: 1 kg of granules can easily absorb 1 liter of water. This property ensures hygiene in the paddock. When droppings come into contact with it, they dry out within a very short time, thus interrupting the life cycle of numerous parasites. The risk of coccidia or worm infestations is virtually eliminated by using Natural Flooring Granules. Furthermore, Natural Flooring Granules neutralize the odor of excrement.

If young pigeons produce very watery droppings in the nest, it is recommended to sprinkle some Natural Floor Covering Granules in and around the nesting bowl. This effectively combats moisture and unpleasant odors. Natural Floor Covering Granules also provide insulation against the cold. This significantly improves the loft climate, which naturally has a positive effect on the pigeons' condition.

Natural Soil Granules retain their moisture-absorbing properties for a very long time, making them economical to use. If Natural Soil Granules are raked once a week, they can remain on the field for a year. Furthermore, the Natural Soil Granules removed from the field are not wasted. Mixed with manure, they form an excellent fertilizer for flower and vegetable gardens.
