Tests conducted showed that the added silver microparticles reduced 98% of Salmonella bacteria and 99% of E. coli bacteria.
Silver and its properties
Silver is a basic element with unique properties. Silver ions have the ability to bind bacterial enzymes, thereby blocking their activity. This results in the inhibition of their development and reproduction, which in turn leads to the complete death of the microbes.
