Single feed for healthy skin and plumage in birds, dogs, and horses

Backs Sulfur Powder is particularly recommended during moulting season and for skin irritations. Sulfur is a component of many protein compounds found in the body and plays an essential role in the regeneration of plumage. Mix 1 level scoop of sulfur powder into moistened feed for 30 pigeons.

Application

Application recommendations: Moulting period and relief of skin irritations
Backs Sulfur Bloom promotes feather regeneration and helps with skin irritations. For optimal application, mix one level measuring spoon of Sulfur Bloom for 30 pigeons with moistened feed. Use Backs Glut-Amin or Backs Omega-Plus-Oil to moisten the feed. The recommended frequency of use is 2-3 times per week.

Internal application for horses, dogs, and cats: Promoting hair growth
Give horses (500 kg warmbloods) 5 g of Sulfur Bloom daily for 10 to 14 days to support hair growth. For ponies and small horses, 0.5 g is sufficient, and for warmblood horses, 1 g, if the Sulfur Bloom is administered permanently. However, regularly take a break of at least 14 days or stop administration once the desired effect is achieved, and only resume feeding as needed. For dogs and cats, a pinch (approx. 0.2 g) daily for small animals and up to 0.5 g (1/4 teaspoon) for larger animals is sufficient for a period of two to three weeks.

External application for horses, dogs, cats, and rabbits: Combination with olive oil
For external applications, mix two parts olive oil with one part Sulfur Bloom. Store the mixture in the refrigerator and use it within one week to keep the oil fresh. Apply the mixture to the affected areas two to three times daily. Continue the treatment for two days after the desired effect has occurred.

BACKS Sulfur Flowers is nearly pure sulfur (99.95%) in food-grade quality. In pigeons, it supports feather formation during molting; in horses, dogs and cats, it contributes to healthy skin and glossy coat.

Feeding recommendation: Mix one level measuring spoon for 30 pigeons into moistened feed. BACKS Glut-Amin or BACKS Omega-Plus-Oil are suitable for moistening. Recommended feeding: 2–3 times per week, particularly during molting or when increased supplementation is needed.

Sulfur Flowers for Horses

In horses, sulfur flowers are traditionally used to support skin, coat and hair growth – for example with dull coat or during coat changes.

Dosage: Give a warmblood horse (approx. 500 kg) 5 g sulfur flowers daily over a period of 10 to 14 days. For continuous feeding, 1 g for warmblood horses and 0.5 g for ponies and small horses are sufficient. Take regular breaks of at least 14 days or discontinue once the desired effect is achieved.

Sulfur Flowers for Dogs and Cats

Sulfur flowers can also support skin and hair growth in dogs and cats.

Dosage: Small animals need only a knife tip daily (approx. 0.2 g), larger dogs up to 0.5 g (1/4 teaspoon), each mixed into feed over a period of two to three weeks.
