Calcium deficiency can quickly lead to health problems in birds, so supplemental calcium supplementation is sometimes advisable. Versele-Laga Oropharma Calci-Lux is a high-quality, water-soluble calcium source that can be dissolved in drinking water and soft food.

This supplementary feed is ideal during periods of increased calcium requirements, such as the breeding season, as it can contribute to healthy eggshell formation. Versele-Laga Oropharma Calci-Lux is also a beneficial supplement for young, growing birds, as it can promote optimal skeletal development.

• For adult birds outside of breeding, as a preventative measure: 1 level measuring spoon (=4 g) in 250 ml of drinking water or in 100 g of moistened ORLUX soft food/egg food, at least 4 days per week.
• Calcium supply before and during breeding: 2 level measuring spoons (=8 g) to 250 ml drinking water or to 100 g moistened ORLUX soft food/egg food, at least 4 days per week.
• Treatment of calcium deficiencies: 3 level scoops (12 g) in 250 ml of drinking water or in 100 g of moistened ORLUX soft food/egg food, at least 4 days per week. Store in a cool, dry place.
