Vanrobaeys Feed Hemp 15kg

Feed material for pigeons and horses

Once pigeons have learned to eat hemp, they are eager for it. It is widely used as a lure feed, much like peanuts. It can also be included in the feed mixture all year round, but it should not make up more than 15 % of the feed. Hemp contains vitamin E and should only be fed as a supplement, as this seed is very rich in oil.

Directions for use:
Pigeons: Hemp is readily fed to young pigeons. During the racing period, feed hemp is used as a supplement to the feed. Hemp should not make up more than 15% of the feed ration.

Horses: Hemp contains fat, proteins, amino acids, minerals and vitamins and thus supplements the ration. Hemp seed can also be fed during the coat change.

Hemp can be fed all year round or periodically, e.g. twice a year.

Constituents: Fat content 28% to 35%, carbohydrates 30% to 35%, proteins 20% to 24%, vitamin E, calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, vitamin B1 and B2 as well as amino acids.
