If, for example, feces come into contact with the floor covering granules, it dries out very quickly, thus interrupting the life cycle of many parasites. At the same time, it neutralizes the odor of the excrement.

Even if, for example, young pigeons have somewhat watery droppings, it is recommended to sprinkle some Vanrobaeys floor covering granules in and around the nesting bowl. This effectively combats moisture and odor development. At the same time, it provides insulation against the cold. This significantly improves the loft climate, which also has a positive effect on the pigeons' condition!

Thanks to its moisture-absorbing properties, Vanrobaeys floor covering granules are very durable and therefore economical to use. It is sufficient to rake the covering once a week. Therefore, it can remain in place for up to a year.
