Rotosal is a liquid feed supplement based on the organic phosphorus butafosfan and oligosaccharides for the rapid correction of phosphorus and energy deficiencies before and after long-distance flights and during periods of general stress, such as after treatments, molting, or rearing. The butafosfan it contains relieves the burden on the liver, which can lead to improved performance during flights. Rotosal remains stable in drinking water for more than 8 hours and is primarily used to accelerate recovery.
The highly available source of organic phosphorus supports a slower breakdown of the energy required for medium- and long-distance flights. Phosphorus (P) plays a central role in cellular energy supply and is also a component of cell nuclei and membranes. Furthermore, it is essential for the stability of bones and feathers, for all growth and development processes, and for protein metabolism. Phosphorus also ensures a constant blood pH value. It acts as a buffer system, regulating the acid-base balance.
Instructions for use : For feeding via drinking water or grain feed.
Before or after exertion: 5 ml for 20 pigeons.
After heavy exertion: 10 ml for 20 pigeons.
Moulting / Breeding: 5 ml for 20 pigeons, 2-3 times per week
Note: Prepare fresh drinking water daily. Rotosal can be safely mixed with Bt-Amin forte and Mumm.
Tip: Give 5ml of Rotosal to 20 pigeons as their last meal before putting them in the cage, mixed with their feed (e.g., hulled sunflower seeds).
