Röhnfried Fatbooster, with its composition of insect fat, salmon oil, lecithin, and pure oregano oil, ensures maximum energy supply during races and training. The high proportion of medium-chain fatty acids in the Fatbooster has a positive effect on the pigeons' form and performance.

Traditionally, oils have been used as a fat supplement. However, since this year, insect fat has been available as a raw material for a health-promoting alternative. This insect fat offers numerous advantages: It contains a high amount of unsaturated fatty acids, especially omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which have health-promoting effects. Insect fat also contains valuable antioxidants. Its composition includes a balanced mix of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids. Lauric acid is a significant saturated fatty acid in insect fat and is known for its antimicrobial properties. It can ward off harmful microorganisms such as bacteria (gram-positive bacteria like Staphylococcus and Streptococcus), viruses, and fungi, and its effects support the immune system. Furthermore, as a medium-chain fatty acid, lauric acid is easily digestible and a readily available source of energy.

The unsaturated fatty acids in insect fat include monounsaturated fatty acids such as oleic acid, as well as polyunsaturated fatty acids, including linoleic acid (omega-6) and alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3). Linoleic acid is an essential fatty acid that is indispensable for the body and must be obtained through diet. It supports cell structure and regulates inflammatory processes. Insect fat mixed with oregano oil, salmon oil, and anise oil is particularly well-suited as a versatile supplement before racing. It is readily absorbed by pigeons, and thanks to the antimicrobial properties of lauric acid and the numerous health benefits of omega-6 and omega-3, insect fat supports the immune system and can have an anti-inflammatory effect.

Feeding recommendation: Mix 1-2 tablespoons of Röhnfried Fatbooster with 1 kg of grain feed until well distributed. The prepared feed can then be fed. We recommend using RO200ready, MagnePro, K+K Protein 3000, or Immunbooster to thicken the mixture. Storage: Store at room temperature and away from light! Use within 3 months of opening.
