Product description

Complementary feed for racing pigeons
It contains high-quality magnesium compounds as well as organic calcium, which together ensure good bioavailability in the body. Various protein sources optimally complement each other to provide a balanced amino acid ratio. Omega-3 fatty acids are present in a form directly available for metabolism. Their utilization is supported by the emulsifying agent lecithin.
High-performance racing pigeons, just like high-performance athletes, require magnesium as protection against muscle acidification and to support muscle contractions. Magnesium is also important for more than 300 different metabolic processes in the body. The interaction of organic and inorganic magnesium in combination with valuable calcium sources ensures optimal storage in the body and thus also the intended effect on metabolism.
Magnesi-a-gold contains various types of protein sources (various yeasts and rice protein). Yeast is not just yeast. Yeasts differ in their amino acid composition. Therefore, when selecting the yeasts, particular attention was paid to ensuring that they optimally complement each other in terms of their amino acid ratio. The rice protein broadens and improves the amino acid spectrum in an ideal way.
Magnesi-a-gold contains a special kind of Omega-3 fatty acids. These are long-chain fatty acids (called DHA). They do not come from fish but from special algae. It is known that Omega-3 fatty acids from algae are significantly less prone to oxidation than those from fish. The proportion of DHA, which is particularly interesting for metabolism, is also considerably higher. These long-chain, polyunsaturated fatty acids (DHA) cannot be sufficiently produced by the animal body itself. They must be consumed additionally through food. DHA are therefore also referred to as essential fatty acids. These important Omega-3 fatty acids help keep arteries clear and blood flowing smoothly. DHA has a positive influence on the cell membrane. The higher the proportion of unsaturated fatty acids, the more flexible and resilient the membranes become.
Lecithin as an emulsifying agent is an important component of Magnesi-a-gold. Fatty acids (such as DHA) require lecithin for incorporation into the body.

Application

Instructions for use:
Breeding: Regular administration (2-3 times a week) ensures good growth of young pigeons during rearing. Magnesi-a-gold can also be given alternately with Tarsin. - Dosage: 1 level measuring spoon/kg grain feed 3 times a week.
Racing: Magnesi-a-gold is particularly important in race preparation. Before racing pigeons are allowed free flight again in spring, Magnesi-a-gold should be administered daily for 7 days. This prevents the so-called "crooked flyer syndrome" by reducing muscle hyperacidity. It also supports blood circulation. During the racing season, Magnesi-a-gold should only be administered at the beginning of the week. The pigeons are calmer and thus have more time for regeneration. At the beginning of the racing season, the pigeon needs a slightly higher amount of magnesium. Once the pigeon is fully in race training, the administration of Magnesi-a-gold can be slightly reduced. With regular use, an additional magnesium supplement can be dispensed with. - Dosage: before the start of training flights, 1 level measuring spoon/kg grain feed daily for 7 days, then 2 days a week. During the racing season, preferably at the beginning of the week (Monday and Tuesday, if Sunday is the return day) 1-2 level measuring spoons/kg grain feed depending on the strain on the pigeon during the previous flight.
Moulting: In this area, the DHA, the balanced aminogram, and lecithin of Magnesi-a-gold are fully utilized. - Dosage: 1 level measuring spoon/kg grain feed 3 times a week.
