Supplementary feed for racing pigeons

It contains magnesium compounds and organic calcium, various protein sources, omega-3 fatty acids from algae and the emulsifying agent lecithin.

Magnesi-a-gold contains protein sources (various yeasts and rice protein). In selecting the yeasts, care was taken to ensure they complement each other in terms of amino acid ratios.

Magnesi-a-gold contains special omega-3 fatty acids. These are long-chain fatty acids (called DHA). They do not come from fish but from special algae. It is known that omega-3 fatty acids from algae are significantly less prone to oxidation than those from fish. The DHA content is also considerably higher. These long-chain, polyunsaturated fatty acids (DHA) cannot be produced in sufficient quantities by the animal body itself. They must be ingested additionally with food. DHA is therefore also referred to as an essential fatty acid.

Lecithin as an emulsifying agent is an important component in Magnesi-a-gold. Fatty acids (such as DHA) require lecithin for incorporation in the body.

Application instructions:
Breeding: regular administration (2-3 times weekly) during rearing. Magnesi-a-gold can also be administered alternately with Tarsin. - Dosage: 3 times weekly 1 level measuring spoon/kg grain feed

Racing: in race preparation, before racing pigeons receive free flight again in spring, administer Magnesi-a-gold daily for 7 days. During the racing season, Magnesi-a-gold should only be given at the beginning of the week. A slightly higher amount is intended at the start of the racing season. Once the pigeon is fully in racing training, Magnesi-a-gold can be reduced somewhat. With regular use, additional magnesium supplementation can be omitted. - Dosage: before beginning training flights 1 level measuring spoon/kg grain feed daily for 7 days, then weekly 2 days. During racing season preferably at the beginning of the week (Monday and Tuesday if Sunday is the return day) 1-2 level measuring spoons/kg grain feed depending on the pigeon's exertion during the previous flight.

Moulting: also administer during moulting. - Dosage: 3 times weekly 1 level measuring spoon/kg grain feed
