Liquid feed supplement for ornamental birds and racing pigeons

Fru-tin-fluid®, formerly known as "Frutin," permanently binds powdered feed to grain, germ, soft, or rearing feed upon hardening.

Fru-tin-fluid® contains various sugars of biological origin. Many beneficial microorganisms (e.g., lactic acid bacteria, also known as lactobacilli) require various sugary substances to maintain their metabolism. Lactic acid bacteria can multiply significantly better in the small intestine under favorable nutritional conditions. Experiments have shown that lactic acid bacteria can multiply 100 to 1000 times more in the small intestine in combination with Fru-tin-fluid® and the re-scha® product Tarsin. Also noteworthy in this context is the chicory powder contained in Fru-tin-fluid® with its valuable ingredient, inulin. A small hint: for the metabolism of inulin, the body relies, among other things, on the presence of lactic acid bacteria.

Fru-tin-fluid® has a high carbohydrate content. This provides additional energy during breeding, racing, and molting.

Fru-tin-fluid® contains a mixture of tropical and local fruits (pineapple, apricot, strawberry, grapefruit, blueberry, currant, papaya, and peach). With their diverse vital nutrients, these fruit substances ensure a more varied diet.

Fru-tin-fluid® supplements mineral supply through the addition of highly bioavailable calcium gluconate.

Due to its high binding capacity ("adhesive effect"), Fru-tin-fluid® reduces nutrient losses that inevitably occur when feed particles are mixed with oil and remain in the feed bowl for an extended period. Thanks to Fru-tin-fluid®, the mixing process can be made more flexible. It does not need to be mixed before each feeding. Thus, a supply can be mixed for several days without fear that added particles will fall off the feed. Furthermore, a trend can be observed that many bird and racing pigeon keepers take advantage of the "adhesive effect" of Fru-tin-fluid® when administering medication via feed.

Composition:

Sugar, chicory powder, fruit powder (from pineapple, apricot, strawberry, grapefruit, blueberry, currant, papaya, and peach), calcium gluconate, and water, moisture content: 30%.

Application:

Fru-tin-fluid® can, of course, be used all year round and for an extended period.

Fru-tin-fluid® is the ideal binder for re-scha's lactic acid bacteria (see Ac-i-prim®). Lactic acid bacteria, bound to the grain feed with Fru-tin-fluid®, remain viable for at least 5 days, even at room temperature.

The mixing process with Fru-tin-fluid® can be designed as follows: the amount of feed needed for one or several days is first weighed. Then, the appropriate amount of Fru-tin-fluid® is added, and the feed is stirred until most feed particles are coated with Fru-tin-fluid®. Only then is the powdered feed supplement to be bound (e.g., Tarsin, Frucht-mash, Immun-o-flash®, Poly-min) added. A second mixing container is very useful for the mixing process. By repeatedly tilting the mixed feed back and forth, optimal distribution of all added particle substances can be achieved. The mixture thus prepared can be fed fresh directly, or it can be allowed to dry for one day at room temperature.

The following should be noted if re-scha's® lactic acid bacteria (see Ac-i-prim®) are to be bound to the feed: First, Fru-tin-fluid® is thoroughly mixed with the lactic acid bacteria in a cup to ensure even distribution on the feed later. If the "paste" formed for stirring in is too viscous, it can be brought to a slightly more liquid consistency by adding a few drops of water (re-scha's® Panta-20 is also possible). This paste is stirred into the feed, and only in the second step are the powdered feed supplements (e.g., Tarsin, Frucht-mash, Immun-o-flash®, Poly-min) added while stirring.

Dosage:

Grain or germ feed: approx. 8-20ml Fru-tin-fluid®/kg feed.
Soft or rearing feed: approx. 20ml Fru-tin-fluid®/kg feed.
If the mixture is too dry, the amount of Fru-tin-fluid® can, of course, be increased.

The content of one tablespoon corresponds to approx. 8-10ml Fru-tin-fluid®.

Important additional information:
Fru-tin-fluid® is produced sterile, so always pour the liquid from the bottle and please do not draw liquid from the bottle with a syringe. If the bottle neck is a bit sticky, please clean it with a damp paper towel. After opening, the bottle must be stored in the refrigerator, and the contents must be used within a maximum of 6 months.
