Product description

Tarsin is a supplementary feed for racing pigeons, which has proven its high effectiveness in breeding, racing and moulting. As an "all-round product", it can be used all year round.
Tarsin contains carefully selected vegetables. These form the nutritional basis for beneficial small intestinal bacteria (such as lactobacilli) and are thus the ideal supplement to re-scha lactobacilli (PT-12). Carbohydrate-rich vegetables in particular, with their various types of sugar, are an ideal nutrient medium for lactobacilli. This allows them (e.g. PT-12, lactobacillus salivarius) to establish themselves better in the small intestine under favourable conditions. Tests have shown that PT-12 lactobacilli can multiply 100 to 1000 times more effectively in the small intestine in combination with Frutin and Tarsin. This significantly enhances the "booster effect" of the lactobacilli.
The richness of vitamin C in vegetables is well known. Vitamin C is needed by the body, among other things, to support the immune system. Vitamins of the B group (especially vitamins B1 and B2) are also found in vegetables. They play a very important role in the process of energy production from fats, carbohydrates and amino acids. Likewise, the minerals contained in vegetables are important for a smooth metabolism.
Tarsin contains a balanced amount of green-lipped mussel. It is an insider tip for good joint mobility. The green-lipped mussel contains a high concentration of glycosaminoglycans (so-called GAGs). GAGs are a special sugar-protein compound and have excellent bioavailability. In addition, the green-lipped mussel contains a high proportion of omega-3 fatty acids. This allows it to support the body in the formation of connective tissue, joint cartilage and synovial fluid ("joint lubricant").
With its high-quality protein sources of natural origin, Tarsin replenishes the body's amino acid pool. Pigeons need the amino acids alanine, arginine, aspartic acid, cystine, glutamic acid, glycine, histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, proline, serine, threonine, tyrosine and valine. Amino acids are known to support muscle growth and the immune system. In Tarsin, valuable raw products from natural sources contain these amino acids.
Tarsin also contains high-quality lecithin. In digestion, it ensures that absorbed dietary fats are absorbed by the body. As an essential dietary component, lecithin supports physical performance. Without lecithin, there is no respiratory chain. With regular Tarsin administration, additional supplementation of lecithin in pigeons can be avoided.
Tarsin is supplemented with a high dose of carnitine. It is particularly important for the transport of fatty acids. Carnitine transports fatty acids to their degradation site. Many biochemical processes cannot take place without the direct or indirect support of carnitine.
Tarsin contains trace elements in chelate form. It is now known that organically bound trace elements can pass through the intestinal wall better than inorganic ones. Thus, it is usually not the absolute amount of trace elements supplied, but their digestibility (i.e. their absorption capacity), that is important for effectiveness. Trace elements are particularly important in the body as components and activators of enzymes.
Tarsin contains vitamin E and selenium as additional additives. Vitamin E primarily protects fats from free radicals. Selenium is an essential trace element for the organism. The immune system in particular needs selenium for its function. Free oxygen radicals are dangerous compounds that must be removed from the body or whose formation must be prevented in order to maintain the immune defence.
In breeding, Tarsin supports mating readiness, fertilisation and the growth of young birds.
Tarsin conditions the pigeon for racing and equally promotes impressive willingness to perform even under difficult racing conditions (headwind flights).
During moulting, Tarsin provides important raw materials that are necessary for a smooth moulting process and intact, silky plumage.

Application

Application:
For Tarsin to achieve its optimal effect, it should ideally be bound to the grain feed with Frutin. Tarsin and Frutin complement each other in their effects. Since Frutin has excellent adhesive properties, the grain feed can even be mixed several days in advance. Feeding with Tarsin should not be limited to one meal per day but should be extended to both morning and evening grain feed administrations. Thus, all grain feed given during the day should be treated with Frutin and Tarsin.
Tarsin's full potential is realized when PT-12 lactobacilli are simultaneously used during the initial application (for 10-14 days). The lactobacilli germs of PT-12 remain fully viable for several days at room temperature on feed mixed with Frutin and Tarsin.
During the pre-travel preparation phase (spring), Tarsin, especially due to the special properties of green-lipped mussel, is the ideal supplement to Magnesi-a-gold.
Dosage:
Breeding: 1 level measuring spoon of Tarsin/kg grain feed daily throughout the entire breeding period.
Racing: 1-2 level measuring spoons of Tarsin/kg grain feed on 2-3 consecutive days, preferably towards the weekend (see also the "Race Schedule").
Moulting: 1 level measuring spoon of Tarsin/kg grain feed at least 3 times a week.
Package insert: 1 measuring spoon, filled level = 4 g Tarsin
Additional information: After opening the vacuum-sealed foil bag, it is best to transfer the contents into an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator.
