Respiratory problems are one of the most widespread issues in pigeon racing. Due to warm and humid transport conditions, most pigeons are exposed to respiratory diseases during the racing season. These problems are often accompanied by large amounts of mucus, leading to reduced oxygen uptake and lower available energy in pigeons. Additionally, the risk of bacterial growth on the mucous membranes is increased, followed by secondary infections. The results are reduced performance in races and an increased risk of respiratory disease outbreaks during transport and in the loft.

Application

Use and Dosage:
During racing season (to avoid an outbreak):
- 2 ml per liter of drinking water for 2-3 days every 3 weeks.
- If the weather is hot, 1-2 days before basketing and after a race can be beneficial.
Treatment:
- 2 ml per liter of drinking water for 6-7 days, until symptoms disappear.
Caution:
Avoid the simultaneous use of BronchoPlus with live vaccines. Discontinue BronchoPlus treatment two days before administering live vaccinations and withhold it for 2 days after administering the live vaccination.
