Administering Boost X5 before a flight helps prevent muscle breakdown during the flight. Boost X5 provides more strength and endurance, thus contributing to a successful flight. Pigeons expend a great deal of energy during flight. Thanks to its unique composition, Boost X5 ensures that the energy gained is efficiently stored (due to the effect of L-glutamine) and released again as needed (due to the effect of L-carnitine). During the flight, the pigeon must push itself to its limits, and its glucose, glycogen, and fat reserves are depleted. The pigeon then resorts to its own muscle tissue to meet its energy demands. The presence of BCAAs (branched-chain amino acids) in Boost X5 allows the pigeon to utilize these amino acids as an energy source in emergency situations. In this way, Boost X5 prevents the pigeon from breaking down its own muscle mass. The rice bran (a source of gamma-oryzanol) in Boost X5 helps prevent muscle breakdown when reserves are depleted.
