Carob belongs to the botanical family of legumes and is predominantly cultivated in the Mediterranean region. The black seeds are surrounded by a fruit pod up to 30 cm long, and this fruit pod is dried after harvesting and processed into pieces. It has a very pleasant texture and is therefore very suitable for various animals. Due to its sweet taste, it is very readily accepted.

Feeding recommendation for dogs, cats, horses:
Carob can be soaked and mixed with the feed.

Feeding recommendation for rodents:
only add in small quantities as a treat to the main feed.
