Dari, also known as sorghum, is a type of millet. Dari is about the size of hemp seeds. The seed originates from the warm regions of Australia, Asia, Africa, and South America. Three varieties are distinguished: white, yellow, and red-brown Dari. It should be noted that we usually place more emphasis on white Dari than red-brown. In terms of nutritional value as food, there is not the slightest difference between the colors. Dari contains more starch compared to wheat. The seed is also rich in amino acids, and the protein in Dari shows a high content of leucine.
