Pea flakes consist of flattened, dried peas. They are easily digestible and a delicious treat. Pea flakes are rich in protein, minerals, and amino acids, yet low in fat.

Feeding recommendation:

• Rodents (e.g., chinchillas, rabbits, guinea pigs): 1-2 teaspoons per animal daily in their food bowl or sprinkled over their roughage.
• Horses: daily, add 1-2 handfuls per animal to the feed or over the hay ration.
• Dogs: Pour 1-3 teaspoons of pea flakes (depending on the size of the dog) with a little warm water and soak for about 10-15 minutes. Mix the pea flakes with the raw or canned meat.
