This antibacterial structural oil with secondary plant compounds contains digestive essential oils from the oregano plant as well as all important essential fatty acids.
They particularly stimulate bile and enzyme secretion in the intestinal tract, which optimizes digestion.

The essential oils (carvacrol and thymol) have excellent preventive effects against pathogenic bacteria such as coccidia, hexamita, mycoplasma, E. coli, salmonella, staphylococci, streptococci, chlamydia, and corynebacteria, as well as against hairworms and roundworms and various types of fungi such as aspergillus, candida, and actinomycetes.

A disturbed digestion paves the way for a variety of harmful (pathogenic) microorganisms and endoparasites.
Particularly in stressful situations such as racing, breeding, and moulting, digestive disorders can occur, which in extreme cases manifest as diarrhea.
During the racing season, this results in performance drops, during the breeding phase, this is evident in poorly growing young birds (often accompanied by watermarks in the feathers).

The oil "cleans" the intestine, so to speak, and the beneficial bacteria contained in Probac quickly recolonize it.
