Complementary feed for pigeons
Before its migratory flight, the bird accumulates an excess of fat to produce energy for its journey. For homing pigeons, 70% of the flight energy is supplied by fats stored in the breast muscle. These fats provide twice as much energy as carbohydrates or proteins of equal weight. These fats are burned through an aerobic biochemical process, producing no lactic acid, which prevents rapid muscle fatigue. Unlike migratory birds, pigeons do not know that they are going into a competition, and they do not prepare for it. Therefore, the pigeon fancier must ensure this dietary preparation. Essential fatty acids (linoleic, linolenic, and arachidonic acids) cannot be synthesized by the body and are nevertheless necessary for various physiological processes. Energetic caps represent a source of unsaturated fats that are easily processed by the body and allow for individual dietary preparation. This forced intake of fatty bodies provides a supplement for endurance in homing pigeons.

Dosage: 1 capsule / pigeon, 2x / day for 3 days
We recommend giving the pigeons one capsule each morning and evening for the last two days before housing them in the loft.
