Backs Willow Bark Tea 400g
Complementary feed for pigeons
Willow bark contains salicyl alcohol glycosides, flavonoids, phenolic carboxylic acids, and tannins. Salicin is broken down into salicyl alcohol and glucose in the intestine and then converted into salicylic acid, the active ingredient in aspirin, in the liver. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to describe how willow bark works in pigeons. However, we recommend its use during cold and wet weather and before pairing.

Application

Instructions for proper use: Add 1 heaped tablespoon of willow bark to 1 liter of cold water and slowly heat to boiling point. Then remove from the heat and let steep for another 5 minutes. Allow the tea to cool and add undiluted to the drinking water. We recommend feeding on 2 consecutive days before pairing and before travel. During travel, on one day after the flight, during moulting every 4 weeks on 2 consecutive days, and for weaned young pigeons also every 4 weeks on 2 consecutive days.
Store in a dry place, protected from light.

Unfortunately, we are not permitted to comment on how willow bark affects pigeons. However, we recommend its use during cold, wet weather and before pairing.
