It has a strong dehydrating effect against the red bird mite and other crawling pests such as bed bugs, ticks, cockroaches, fleas and ants.
It is applied along the insects' preferred routes and hiding places. Upon contact with the active ingredient, the pests become coated in dust and die within a short time. Resistance is not known due to the biophysical effect.

Application: Shake well before use. In the cleaned coop, spray evenly from a distance of 30 cm. The moisture that appears immediately after spraying evaporates quickly, leaving an even film of diatomaceous earth. As needed, also spray Bio Mite Killer Spray under perches, in U-profiles, and under egg covers. These areas must be checked regularly and treated as needed. Early mite infestations that can be localized to specific areas should be treated with targeted spot treatments.
If poultry in enclosed spaces are infested, treatment must begin while the coop is still warm and the mites are active. This is when the likelihood of reaching all developmental stages is greatest. As a preventative measure, it is recommended that the entire facility be coated with a layer of diatomaceous earth after thorough cleaning, disinfection, and drying.
