Supplementary feed for racing pigeons and ornamental birds
Fruit Mash is a globally unique, innovative product for the vitality and performance of racing pigeons and ornamental birds. Fruit Mash is among the highest quality animal supplements produced worldwide. The preparation is made from valuable fruits – using food-grade raw materials. The processed fruit powders of sea buckthorn berries, rosehips, elderberries, and numerous forest and tropical fruits contain substances that promote vitality, reproduction, and growth.
Fruit mash, made with carefully selected natural fruits (of local, southern, or tropical origin), expands the range of dietary options. The unique biological nutrients (including vitamins, bioflavonoids, minerals, and more) in these fruits provide a balance to an often unbalanced diet. Fruit mash further enhances its protein and energy potential through the addition of a special yeast containing nucleotides and a "wood sugar yeast."
Racing pigeons are "powerhouses" that are very sensitive to external influences. Respiratory problems or a weakened immune system (see "young pigeon disease") are indicators of a disturbed protein and energy metabolism. Micronutrients from nature compensate for an often one-sided diet. Fruit mash, in particular, provides the necessary precursors for the formation of numerous adenosine triphosphates (ATPs), which are immensely important when energy demands are high.
Instructions for use: Fruit mash can be given to racing pigeons throughout the year. It is particularly necessary and valuable during periods of highest stress (breeding, racing, and molting).
Dosage: The dosage instructions are only guidelines. The exact amount can be adjusted by the owner according to the pigeon's fitness level.
Breeding: approx. 1-2 measuring spoons/kg grain feed
Journey: (see also “Travel plan”) Start of journey: 1 measuring spoon/kg grain feed, approx. 400 km release distance: 2 measuring spoons/kg grain feed.
Molting: approx. 2 measuring spoons/kg grain feed
The fruit mash binds best to the grain feed using Frutin. Tarsin provides an optimal nutritional supplement.
Additional information: 1 level measuring spoon contains 2.5 g of fruit mash.
The ingredients: Sea buckthorn berries are considered the "lemon of the north." They provide ten times more vitamin C than lemons. They are also very rich in other vitamins (B vitamins, tocopherols, carotenoids), plant sterols, and important fatty acids (such as omega-3, omega-6, omega-7, and omega-9 fatty acids). Sea buckthorn berries also contain the bioactive compound lycobin, which strengthens the immune system.
Rosehips are among the most vitamin-rich fruits. Particularly noteworthy is their high content of vitamin C, but they also contain beta-carotene, B vitamins, vitamin E, vitamin K, and vitamin P (rutin). Rosehips are also rich in the minerals calcium, magnesium, and especially potassium. Flavonoids, particularly citrin and rutin, are another important component. The various sugars in rosehips provide an ideal food source for lactobacilli, such as those found in re-scha products (re-scha lactobacillus preparations).
Elderberry is known in human medicine as a secret weapon against colds and flu-like infections. Its relatively high content of minerals, vitamins, and essential amino acids is particularly noteworthy. The dark pigment (sambucyanin) in elderberries is of special importance, as it is a key antioxidant.
Wild berries (including blueberries, blackberries, etc.) contain high doses of bioflavonoids, which are particularly rich in folic acid and minerals (especially magnesium and iron for blood formation). The pigments (anthocyanins) in blueberries inhibit lipoxygenase, an enzyme active in inflammatory processes.
Tropical fruits (including pineapple, apricot, etc.) are also rich in vital nutrients. Pineapple enzymes relax muscles and relieve muscle cramps. Pineapple enzymes also have a positive effect on the digestion of protein and fat.
Wood sugar yeast (yeast cells are biologically inactivated), a previously little-known protein component, is produced by the strain Kluyveromces fragilis. It possesses an extremely high quality in terms of the quantity and diversity of important amino acids, vitamins, and minerals.
Special yeast with a relatively high nucleotide content. These tiny building blocks are needed for cell division, tissue growth, and immune system development. They are essential for energy and protein metabolism. A particularly high demand exists during phases of intensive cell division (e.g., breeding or racing in pigeon racing). Supplementing nucleotides through food improves energy efficiency and enhances the body's resilience.
