Re-Scha Ac-i-prim 18g

Supplementary feed for laying hens and broiler chickens

Description

Ac-i-prim with Lactobacillus acidophilus is the successor product of the legendary PT-12.

Ac-i-prim embodies everything that made its predecessor so impressively successful. Over 15 years of experience working with lactobacilli, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector, has created an inexhaustible knowledge base. re-scha® has applied this expertise to the entire manufacturing process of the new product. re-scha®'s quality standards and those of its customers are reflected in this new probiotic feed supplement. The highest priority is placed on maintaining the declared count of live lactobacilli. re-scha®'s long-established external GMP laboratory monitors the most important production stages. Product-specific packaging, ensuring proper storage, is also a given.
re-scha® spared no expense or effort here.

The choice of this particular L. acidophilus was not purely accidental.

Ac-i-prim contains only one probiotic bacterial strain. As the saying goes, "too many cooks spoil the broth," and several different bacterial species can interfere with each other's effectiveness. It is extremely difficult to find bacteria of different species for a probiotic that can work together to fulfill their functions. Furthermore, the L. acidophilus is not encapsulated. What good is it to the user or the animal if the capsule shell only opens after passing through the intestines? This risk is too great. Encapsulation also causes a probiotic to lose a large number of valuable, live bacteria.

This particular lactobacillus is a specific isolate from a species commonly found in the small intestine of the target animal species. It is also capable of occupying exposed intestinal receptors. In several extensive studies required for EU approval, it has demonstrated its ability to significantly improve the health (i.e., vitality) of animals. The primary goal of using Ac-i-prim is to reduce the use of antibiotics. We already know from our experience with the predecessor product,
Lactobacilli can not only initiate enormous metabolic processes, but also help the body to synthesize nutrient products that are not artificially supplied.
can. I have already described the effect of lactobacilli on pathogenic (=undesirable germs) in sufficient detail in previous publications.

Lactobacillus lacidophilus does not exhibit antibiotic resistance, therefore Ac-i-prim must be reapplied after each course of antibiotics. Lactobacillus bacteria exhibiting antibiotic resistance are not approved in the EU.

Application of Ac-i-prim in the target animal species:

Ac-i-prim is best administered via feed. The well-known " Frutin " from re-scha® is recommended as a binding agent. This ensures that none of the valuable bacteria are lost.
Substance is lost, and the lactobacilli receive additional nutrients for their reproduction. Similarly, re-schas® " Tarsin " contains important nutrient sources for lactobacilli.

Administration via drinking water is only advisable if the animals consume the water within 2-3 hours. Our own studies have shown that the mortality rate of the live bacteria increases significantly with the longer the lactobacilli remain in the drinking water.

Another way to administer it is to simply dust the feed with Ac-i-prim .

Here's a practical tip: the simplest and most effective method is to put the food and Ac-i-prim in balanced amounts into a plastic bag and shake vigorously. Some bacterial substance will likely be lost, but often there's no other option. It's impossible to overdose on Ac-i-prim , as any excess bacteria will simply be excreted. Furthermore, lactobacilli will stop multiplying on their own if a certain pH level in the small intestine is undershot.

To prepare the animals for breeding, they receive Ac-i-prim for at least 14 days. However, to improve egg quality, Ac-i-prim can also be administered throughout the entire laying period.

Young animals receive Ac-i-prim from the first day of life for at least 14 days. However, a longer administration period is also perfectly safe.

Dosage of Ac-i-prim:

Ac-i-prim should ideally be administered throughout the entire day's feed.

The dosage is approximately 3 g/kg of feed (= 1 slightly heaped macro measuring spoon) depending on the age of the animals.

Measuring spoons are included in the packaging as a dosing aid.

Macro measuring spoon in the 120g and 40g Ac-i-prim containers, slightly heaped (= 3.0g) for approximately 30-40 animals per day.

Micro measuring spoon in the 40 g and 1 B g Ac-i-prim can, slightly heaped (= 0.3 g) for 3-5 animals per day.

Micro-measuring spoon in the 1 B g Ac-i-prim dose, slightly heaped (= 0.3 g) for 3-5 animals per day.

The 40g Ac-i-prim can contains one micro and one macro measuring spoon.

Storage of Ac-i-prim:

re-scha® continues to favor storage under deep-freeze conditions at minus 18° Celsius. These are conditions under which the lactobacilli remain viable for many years. Thus,
Naturally, the Ac-i-prim product is stored at these deep-freeze temperatures at re-scha® before being shipped. Limited storage under refrigerated conditions (approx. 4°C – 6°C) for 12 months and under room temperature conditions (approx. 20°C – 22°C) for 6 months is possible.

This product information is intended as a guide for the correct use of Ac-i-prim. re-scha® is also happy to provide detailed information on very specific application possibilities.
