Carob belongs to the botanical family of legumes and is mainly grown in the Mediterranean region. The black seeds are surrounded by a fruit pod up to 30 cm long, and this fruit pod is dried after harvesting and processed into pieces. It has a very pleasant texture and is therefore very well suited for various animals. Due to its sweet taste, it is very readily accepted.
Carob is the delicious snack for your rodents. Good acceptance, pleasant texture, sweet taste. The calcium and phosphorus it contains stimulate stomach and intestinal activity and regulate digestion.

Application

Feeding recommendation:
Dogs, cats, horses: Carob can be soaked and mixed with food.
Rodents: only add as a treat in small quantities to their basic feed.
