Liquid supplementary feed for ornamental birds and homing pigeons

Fru-tin-fluid® , formerly also known as “Frutin”, permanently binds powdered feedstuffs to the grain, sprouted, soft or rearing feed by hardening.

Fru-tin-fluid® contains various sugars of biological origin. Many beneficial microorganisms (e.g., lactic acid bacteria, also known as lactobacilli) require different types of sugar-containing substances to maintain their metabolism. Lactic acid bacteria can multiply significantly more effectively in the small intestine under favorable nutritional conditions. For example, studies have shown that lactic acid bacteria can multiply 100 to 1000 times more in the small intestine when combined with Fru-tin-fluid® and the re-scha® product Tarsin. Also noteworthy in this context is the chicory powder in Fru-tin-fluid®, which contains the valuable ingredient inulin. A brief note: the body relies, among other things, on the presence of lactic acid bacteria to metabolize inulin.

Fru-tin-fluid® has a high carbohydrate content. This provides additional energy during breeding, travel, and molting.

Fru-tin-fluid® contains a blend of tropical and local fruits (pineapple, apricot, strawberry, grapefruit, blueberry, currant, papaya, and peach). With their diverse range of vital nutrients, these fruit substances contribute to a more varied diet.

Fru-tin-fluid® supplements the mineral supply by adding calcium gluconate, which is highly bioavailable to the body.

Fru-tin-fluid® reduces nutrient losses due to its high binding capacity (“adhesive effect”). These losses inevitably occur when feed particles are mixed with oil and remain in the feed bowl for extended periods. Thanks to Fru-tin-fluid®, the mixing process can be made more flexible. It doesn't need to be mixed before every feeding. This allows for mixing enough for several days without worrying about the added particles falling off the feed. Furthermore, there is a growing trend of bird and pigeon keepers utilizing the “adhesive effect” of Fru-tin-fluid® when administering medication via feed.

Composition :

Sugar, chicory powder, fruit powder (from pineapple, apricot, strawberry, grapefruit, blueberry, currant, papaya and peach), calcium gluconate and water, moisture content: 30%.

Application:

Fru-tin-fluid® can of course be used throughout the year and also over a longer period of time.

Fru-tin-fluid® is the ideal binding agent for re-scha's lactic acid bacteria (see Ac-i-prim® ). Lactic acid bacteria bound to the grain feed with Fru-tin-fluid® remain viable for at least 5 days, even at room temperature.

The mixing process with Fru-tin-fluid® can be carried out as follows: First, weigh out the amount of feed required for one or more days. Then add the corresponding amount of Fru-tin-fluid® and stir the feed until most of the feed particles are coated. Only then add the powdered supplementary feed to be bound (e.g., Tarsin , Frucht-mash , Immun-o-flash® , Poly-min ). A second mixing container is very useful for the mixing process. This allows for optimal distribution of all added particles by repeatedly tilting the mixed feed back and forth. The finished mixture can be fed immediately or left to dry at room temperature for one day.

The following should be observed when incorporating re-schas® lactic acid bacteria (see Ac-i-prim®) into feed: First, thoroughly mix Fru-tin-fluid® with the lactic acid bacteria in a container to ensure even distribution in the feed. If the resulting mixture is too thick, it can be thinned by adding a few drops of water (re-schas® Panta-20 is also suitable). Stir this mixture into the feed, and only in the second step should the powdered supplementary feed(s) (e.g., Tarsin, Frucht-mash, Immun-o-flash®, Poly-min) be added while stirring.

Dosage:

Seed or sprouted feed: approx. 8-20ml Fru-tin-fluid® /kg feed.
Soft or rearing feed: approx. 20ml Fru-tin-fluid® /kg feed.
If the mixture is too dry, the amount of Fru-tin-fluid® can of course be increased.

The contents of one tablespoon correspond to approximately 8-10ml of Fru-tin-fluid® .

Important additional information:
Fru-tin-fluid® is manufactured under sterile conditions, so always pour the liquid out of the bottle and do not use a syringe to draw it out. If the bottle neck becomes slightly sticky, please clean it with a damp paper towel. Once opened, the bottle must be stored in the refrigerator and the contents used within a maximum of 6 months .
